TOPIQUE: A FORUM FOR THE EXCHANGE OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND FORWARD-THINKING IDEAS AT PIQUE

Topique returns this summer with artist talks, panel discussions, screenings, demonstrations, and networking opportunities, spanning two days on June 12-13. Building on the Pique ethos of experimentation and inclusivity, Topique invites curious festival-goers to step into the conversation.

Admission to all Topique sessions is pay-what-you-can, with tickets available online and at the door. Each session is subject to the capacity of the venue it is held in, and a pass does not guarantee admission or a seat in all sessions. Please plan to arrive early to ensure admission.

This summer’s program features six sessions led by international and Canadian artists and artistic leaders, covering topics that push the cultural sector forward, including:

• Navigating international touring

• Sustaining artist-led ecosystems

• Sonic resistance and solidarity

• Decolonial instrument building and sound design

• Global sound system cultures
